Welcome to Techfugees. By using techfugees.org and our related services (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Techfugees is a non-profit organisation operating a global community platform for humanitarian technology. The Platform is provided as a public good.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information; impersonation is not allowed.

3. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (organisation listings, profiles, articles, comments). You grant Techfugees a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and share this content as needed to operate and promote the Platform.

You're responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, lawful, and respectful of others. We may edit, moderate, or remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

4. Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate speech, or content that puts displaced people at risk.
• No spam, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the Platform.
• No misuse of contact information obtained through the Platform.
• No content that infringes intellectual-property rights.

5. Organisation listings

Listings are reviewed before publication. Approval is at our discretion. We may remove or suspend listings that no longer meet our criteria. Verified status indicates we have confirmed basic information; it is not an endorsement.

6. Jobs & partnerships

Job listings and partnership opportunities are offered by third parties. Techfugees is not a party to any employment, contracting, or commercial agreement that results from connections made on the Platform.

7. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techfugees disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the community.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
